As we gather speed in the rumour mill, nearing that sacred month of September – hype continues to grow around Apple’s next iPhone. This time, fuelled by reports on the Chinese social media site, Sin Weibo, posted by analyst Sun Chang Xu.
The report notes that the iPhone 6 will boast a 4.7 inch screen and a 2,100mAh battery. If true, this represents a 45% increase from the iPhone 5s’ 1,440mAh battery. We are almost, also, certain that a 5.5 inch phone will also be on offering.
Apple is expected to tinker with the camera – possibly adding a 13 Megapixel camera. On the front of Sapphire crystal displays, well… That’s a little sketchy. Reports are conflicting and at this point, I’d err on the side of caution and say no.
Nevertheless – Apple is readying for a massive product launch. Tipping between 70M and 80M combined iPhone sales.
A lot rests on this launch, and if Apple screws this up, it could be detrimental.
