Apple is revving up for a month of large releases. September will be a big month for the company, both in physical size of their devices and in anticipation of new product lines.
Despite a recent dip in tablet sales, described as a minor ‘speed bump’ by CEO Tim Cook, Apple still believes it can confidently control the market.
In order to continue to command the waves of this tablet era, Apple is expected to release a larger 12.9 inch iPad to compete with similar devices. Sources close to Bloomerg are stating that Apple’s suppliers are preparing to manufacture larger displays – measuring 12.9 inches diagonally.
We’ve already had several predictions around the iPads ‘traditionally’ smaller brother, the iPhone. Cupertino is likely to launch two variants of the phone, one with a 4.7 inch display and the other a 5.5 inch display. This has recently been backed up by leaked images.
All of this is set to be unveiled on the 9th September, with a launch scheduled a few weeks later. Again, these are just rumours. All though the above leaked photo clearly depicts an iPhone, branded with a 6 and features the side-located power sleep/wake buttons… All as predicted.
