It is now official. Confirmed, straight from the horse’s mouth. Apple will hold an event on the 9th September 2014.
In true Apple style, the invite sent out included no more than a simple message and date. Both were set on top of a pure white Apple logo, casting a shadow. The message simply read:
“Wish we could say more.”
The only reason we look so deeply at these invites, is that in prior years they’ve given clues towards what might be released by Cupertino. On the cards to be launched: the iPhone 6, possibly iWatch and maybe updates to a few Mac products.
Currently, there is speculation that the two “9”s are simply rotated sixes, indicating the launch of two iPhone 6s. Or possibly, that the shadow behind the Apple logo makes the logo look like a sundial and hence references a clock…
I know, it is far-fetched and slightly sad; but hey, we’ve got to have our fun.
We will definitely be covering the Apple event live on the 9th September – check back for more details.
