Technology has changed, the focus is continuing to push towards the wearable market, the next-gen consoles don’t seem too next-gen now and lets not forget extreme market turbulence (looking at you Apple and Samsung). A few months back, Ordnance Survey introduced their own, mini-version, of the UK mapped entirely on Minecraft. Now the UK based mapping company has given its OS Minecraft world an update – adding homes, roads and 60 million more blocks.
In a deal that has shocked the gaming world, Microsoft has shown that it still has money to wield. Buying the highly popular ex indie-game Minecraft; Redmond seems to now be clawing at straws in attempts to stay top dog.
